Get Admin Mobile App

You can use the Microsoft 365 Admin mobile app to manage users, monitor service health, and perform other admin tasks from your phone.

  1. To get the Microsoft 365 Admin mobile app, search for Microsoft 365 Admin in the app store for your device and install it.
  2. Sign in with your global admin email address, and view the dashboard to see service health, monitor user licenses, and see messages and service requests.
  3. Here are a few common tasks you can do with the app:

Reset a user’s password

  1. Under Quick Links, choose Users.
  2. On the Users page, choose the user’s name, and then choose Reset password.
  3. If you want to require the user to change their new password when they first sign in, select the Change on first sign-in check box, and then choose Reset.
  4. When asked to confirm, choose Yes, and then OK.
  5. In the Share password window, you can optionally send the new password to the user in an email or a text message.

Add a user to a group

  1. Under Quick Links, choose Groups.
  2. On the Groups page, choose the group you want to add a user to, and then choose Edit members > Add a member.
  3. Choose the user you want to add.
  4. When asked to confirm, choose Yes, and then OK.

Turn on notifications

  1. On the main menu, choose Settings.
  2. Under App settings, choose Notifications.
  3. Select the check boxes next to Service health and Message Center.
